Chris Cole, a local fashion designer and friend, wanted to showcase his made to measure blazer that can be dressed up or down on our Model Troy.
So why the title? The pattern on the blazer reminds me of the flames that whirl out of a dragons mouth! Keep an eye out for how the fabric catches light throughout the shoot.
We were shooting at Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Az and our first set was the dressed down phase, with jeans and a white t-shirt.
Chris's enthusiasm for the shoot really showed as he didn't hesitate to step in and handle all the small details.
We walked around a little to see what else was around and came accross this neutral colored wall. Troy was really drawn to the shadow play on the wall cast by the slowly rising sun.
Chris wanted to make sure we used the north side of the building because of its captivating architecture for dress up phase and I don't blame him because I think they came out great!
Looking for a place we could squeeze a few more shots in, we came across a spot with similar lighting and shadow play as the earlier spot.
While Chris took a peak at our photos, I put Portrait Mode on my iPhone 7 plus to work!
These had me excited because they were without question my favorites from the shoot and they came off my iPhone! Chris's review was just going to have to wait because I need a chance to work this spot with my actual camera before this dynamic lighting was gone!
We were pretty satisfied after these and decided to call it a wrap! I look forward to working with these 2 in the future!
Check out some of the gear I use!
